My work excavates the history of a space. I approach my subject with a forensic eye and a cartographer’s pen. The work is an outgrowth of my process as interrupter of the wall and becomes a visual demonstration of quantum mechanics, which I use in order to address the possible future that space might possess. To me this layered process contains the possibility of not only charting a past, but the pattern of human instinct to alter a blank space. Through my work, I hope to discover and illustrate these repetitions, while plotting a visual course for the wall’s future alterations.
